Connect to the moment
Relate your decision to the scene, relationships and dramatic circumstances. Explain why it belongs at this particular point in the play.
Evaluate an audience effect
For live theatre writing, select a precise moment and discuss how the production communicated meaning. Move beyond saying that it was effective.
Respect the boundaries of assessed work
Private tuition should develop skills through independent practice. A tutor must not write your notebook or report, direct assessed work, or make assessed creative decisions for you. Check permitted assistance with your centre.
