I am a secondary Mathematics teacher who holds a PGCE in Secondary Education and qualified teacher status in Secondary Mathematics. I have 5 years experience of teaching Mathematics in a high school. My achievements include rebuilding trust and structure in a disrupted Year 11 class, guiding pupils to GCSE success with 46% achieving grades 5-7 despite prior instability, learning gaps, and a year without consistent teaching. I have successfully taught many pupils with SEN needs such as neurodivergent needs, dyscalculia, dyslexia and ADHD by adapting the curriculum to meet their needs. My teaching focuses on teaching 'big ideas' through small achievable steps so I can transfer powerful subject knowledge to each pupil. Hi there, my name is Javeria Margoob and I am a secondary mathematics teacher. I hold a PGCE in secondary education and qualified teacher status in secondary mathematics. Before I became a teacher I was an in-person tutor for a tutoring organisation. I've also worked as a teaching assistant in a secondary school and then after I trained to become a maths teacher I have four years experience of working in a high school and I've got experience of teaching Key Stage 3 maths and Key Stage 4 maths. I also have experience of teaching GCSE foundation maths and also GCSE higher. My approach is simple, I ensure that the people is enjoying their learning, that I'm creating a safe environment for them and I'm filling in their gaps and then making progress in the tuition session.
