Having self-taught my A-Levels and GCSEs has given me a practical understanding of how students can build knowledge independently, develop effective study habits, identify their weaknesses and improve through structured practice. My main strength as a tutor is that I can combine subject knowledge with a realistic understanding of how students actually learn. I know that improvement is rarely about simply ‘working harder’.
