I am a teacher of MFL with experience working at secondary schools up to GCSE level. I strongly believe language learning should be accessible to all students and I am passionate about developing interest in language learning and developing cultural awareness amongst learners. I sequence my lessons to address each of the 4 skills of language learning (reading, listening, writing and speaking) by developing receptive skills through careful modelling, aiming to increase confidence and accuracy before providing opportunities for independent practice with a range of engaging tasks. I have knowledge of the National Curriculum for teaching KS3 and have experience of teaching both the Edexcel and AQA specifications for French GCSE.
