How to join your online lesson (for students)

Joining your lesson takes one click. The green Join button appears 10 minutes before your lesson starts - here's exactly where to find it and what to do if you don't see it.

Joining your lesson is one click

When it's nearly time for your lesson, a green Join button appears automatically. Just click it and your online classroom opens in a new tab. No downloads or codes needed.

When does the Join button appear?

• It becomes available 10 minutes before your lesson start time.
• It stays available during the lesson, in case you need to rejoin.
• Before then, you'll see a countdown like "Join button appears in 15 minutes" so you know it's coming.

Where to find it

1. Log in to your Klasu account.
2. Go to your Dashboard and open the Upcoming Lessons section.
3. Find your lesson and click the green Join button.

You may also see a banner at the top of your screen reminding you that your lesson is starting soon - you can join straight from there too.

Before your lesson

• Use a device with a working camera and microphone (a laptop or desktop works best).
• Allow your browser to access your camera and microphone when prompted.
• Join a couple of minutes early to check everything's working.

I can't see the Join button - what should I do?

• It's more than 10 minutes before the lesson. The button only appears in the final 10 minutes - you'll see a countdown until then.
• Refresh the page. A quick refresh will bring the button through as soon as it's ready.
• Check the lesson is confirmed. For paid lessons, make sure payment has gone through; free introductions don't need payment.
