How can I track my child's progress with Lesson Reports?

Klasu makes it easier for parents and guardians to stay informed about their child's learning through Lesson Reports.

These reports allow tutors to share feedback following a lesson, helping families understand what their child has been working on and how they're progressing.

What is a Lesson Report?

A Lesson Report is a summary that a tutor can complete after a tutoring session.

It can include information about:

  • Topics and skills covered during the lesson.

  • How the student is progressing.

  • Areas where the student is improving.

  • Topics that may need further practice or attention.

  • Recommendations for future learning.

Does every tutor complete a Lesson Report?

Tutors are automatically prompted to complete a Lesson Report after each lesson.

However, Lesson Reports are optional, so a report may not be submitted after every session.

If you'd find regular feedback helpful, we recommend discussing this with your tutor and asking whether they can complete a report after each lesson or every few lessons.

Will I be notified when a report is completed?

Yes. When a tutor submits a Lesson Report, Klasu automatically sends an email notification to the account holder.

This helps you stay informed about your child's learning without needing to contact the tutor after every session.

Can I request regular progress updates?

Absolutely. You can message your tutor through Klasu to explain that you'd appreciate a Lesson Report after each session.

Your tutor can then provide regular feedback to help you follow their progress over time.

Are Lesson Reports the same as lesson recordings?

No. They serve different purposes.

Lesson Reports provide written feedback from the tutor about the student's learning and progress.

Lesson recordings allow students and families to revisit what was taught during the session.

Using both can provide a more complete picture of your child's learning.
