Teach Maths online from home, choose your availability and support GCSE, iGCSE or A-Level learners through Klasu.

Maths levels we cover

About this role

Klasu has flexible online Maths tutor jobs for UK-based applicants who want to teach from home. We welcome qualified teachers, experienced graduates and suitable current degree students who can support GCSE, iGCSE or A-Level learners.

Help students understand why a mathematical method works and learn when to apply it independently. Begin by identifying each learner’s current understanding and goals. Use clear explanations, carefully chosen examples, questioning and exam practice to address misconceptions and build fluency.

At GCSE and iGCSE, lessons may cover number, algebra, ratio, geometry, probability and statistics. Tutors should work from the relevant specification and understand the course tier they offer. At A-Level, state whether you teach pure mathematics, mechanics, statistics or a combination of these areas.

Adapt your online Maths lessons to the individual student. Some learners may need to consolidate foundational skills, while others may be tackling more demanding problems or preparing for examinations. Give constructive feedback and help students communicate their mathematical reasoning clearly.

Applicants should state the levels, exam boards and specifications they know well. You do not need to cover every course. Further Maths, Scottish National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher Maths, standalone Statistics and entrance-exam preparation have separate vacancies because they require different subject knowledge.
