Klasu is recruiting tutors for GCSE, iGCSE and A-Level Biology, with a particular interest in teachers and subject specialists who can diagnose misconceptions rather than rely on memorised answers.
Lessons may cover cell biology, organisation, infection and immunity, inheritance, evolution and ecology. At A-Level, support could include biological molecules, exchange and transport, energy transfer, gene expression and experimental design, according to the student’s specification. Teach accurate scientific vocabulary alongside graph interpretation, calculations and extended responses.
Plan one-to-one sessions around the learner’s current course, starting point and goals. Use practice questions to identify gaps, explain the reasoning behind answers and revisit learning over time. Applicants should identify the exam boards and levels they can confidently teach, including any international specifications. You do not need to teach every level listed.

This is a self-employed, online tutoring opportunity for UK-based applicants. You choose your availability and lesson rate. The advertised £20–£60 per hour is an indicative lesson-price range before Klasu’s standard 30% commission, not a guaranteed wage. At those prices, £14–£42 remains after standard commission, before tax and any other applicable deductions. Individual agreed commission arrangements may vary.
